How does gematria calculator work

The gematria calculator is a tool used to numerically assign a value to words, names, and phrases in either the ancient Assyrian language, Hebrew or ancient Greek. The numerical value of words are then used for divinatory and interpretative purposes in magic and numerology.

Essentially, gematria assigns numbers to letters of the alphabet; old Hebrew and Greek alphabets only have 22 letters, while modern Hebrew alphabets contain more. The traditional procedure uses a base-10 system; this means that each letter is given a value between 1-10. Depending on the alphabet used and language choices made, the numerical equivalents may vary slightly. Numbers can then be assigned to words by adding together their individual letter values giving it an intrinsic meaning related to their combined numerical value.

To use this tool, one needs only enter a word into the calculator and it will give you the corresponding number associated with that word. This number can then be analyzed to understand more information about the word itself or explore correspondences between words with similar values for comparison purposes. Furthermore, numbers may correspond with other religious texts or world events which can thereafter be used for Qabalistic magick or interpretative revelation seeking purposes depending on one's intents or goals.
